Walter Haas, 82, 701 Indiana Ave., died at 5:25 a. m. Wednesday Sept. 17, 1975, in Woodland Manor Nursing Home at Attica where he had been a patient for 2 1/2 years. He was retired from the Indiana Condensed Milk Co. at Veedersburg where he had been a manager 17 years and employed by the firm for 39 years. Mr. Haas was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Veedersburg since 1910; members of the Veedersburg Police Department for eight years; and had been a town board member for two terms. Born Feb. 20, 1893, at Mellott, he was the son of Luther and Celia Gott Haas. He was married to Audrah Smith on May 12, 1916 at Veedersburg. She survives. Also surving is a son, Lorin, of Veedersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Martha) Ratcliff of Veedersburg and Mrs. Jack (Nancy) McLean of DeBary, Fla., eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. An infant son, two brothers, a half brother and two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 2 p. m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at Parham Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. Thursday.  --typed by Walt W
